Origami comes from Japanese art and consists of folding paper to create figures and different shapes without using scissors or glue; in the past, this kind of practice was considered as an artistic hobby. Origami is a good tool for students to explore new geometric concepts through manipulation and practice. Although origami is often thought of as simply an artistic activity, it is also a powerful educational tool through which students discover new concepts of geometry by developing their own creativity.
